Friday Summer Outreach

Mission Church invites all members to take part in our Friday Summer Outreach efforts throughout July and August.

During the summer months, instead of our regular Friday evening prayer schedule from the traditional school year, we are encouraging members to go out into their surrounding communities and share the good news of the gospel. This is a special opportunity for saints across the greater Boston area—including Dorchester, the South Shore, the North Shore, MetroWest, and surrounding neighborhoods—to connect with people where they are.

Our church theme, “Moving in Obedience: Possessing Our Blessing,” reminds us that obedience requires action, faith, and willingness to move when God calls.

Joshua 1:11 declares:

“Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it.”

As we move forward in obedience, we believe outreach is a vital part of the mission God has given the church. We are called to witness, testify, encourage, invite, and share the message of salvation with our families, friends, neighbors, and communities.

Each Friday evening, members are encouraged to branch out in their local regions, connect with community members, share their testimony, invite others to church, and help spread the love of Jesus Christ.

This summer, let us be intentional about reaching beyond the walls of the church. Whether through conversation, prayer, invitation, testimony, or acts of kindness, we can all take part in the work of outreach.

Let us move in obedience together and believe God for souls, open doors, and greater connection with the communities around us.
