Pentecost Sunday

Pentecost Sunday Worship & Corporate Prayer

Join us today, Sunday, May 24th, for Pentecost Sunday as we gather together in prayer, worship, and expectation.

After days of prayer and fasting leading up to this special Sunday, we are inviting everyone to meet at the altar for corporate prayer beginning at 10:00 AM. This is a sacred opportunity for the church family to seek the Lord together, pray in unity, and prepare our hearts for what God desires to do among us.

Today’s Schedule:

10:00 AM — Corporate Prayer at the Altar
Let us gather together in one accord for prayer, consecration, and expectation.

12:00 Noon — Worship Service
Join us as we lift up the name of Jesus and celebrate the power and promise of Pentecost.

Pentecost Sunday holds great significance for the Apostolic church. It is the day we celebrate the birth of the New Testament Church, when the Holy Ghost was poured out and believers were empowered by the Spirit of God.

Acts 2:1–4 declares:

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Pentecost reminds us of the promise Jesus gave concerning the Comforter. In John 14:16–18, Jesus said:

“And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”

This is a day of spiritual renewal, deeper intimacy with God, evangelism, empowerment through the Holy Ghost, and fellowship with the saints. As we come together in prayer and worship, we are believing God for refreshing, renewal, and a greater outpouring of His Spirit in our lives, our families, and our church.

Pentecost Sunday Attire:
Sisters: Red, orange, or yellow attire or accessories
Brothers: Black suit with a red, orange, or yellow tie

We encourage all members, families, friends, and visitors to join us today. Let us gather in one accord, just as the early church did, and seek the Lord together.

Come expecting God to move.
