2026 Church Consecration: A Season of Prayer, Fasting, and Preparation

Church Consecration

As we enter this sacred season, Mission Church of Christ invites you to join us in our 2026 Church Consecration, a dedicated time of spiritual renewal as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday.

This annual consecration is a time set apart to honor the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, drawing us closer to God through intentional prayer, scripture meditation, and fasting. It is a call for the body of Christ to realign, refocus, and deepen our faith as we reflect on the sacrifice and victory of our Savior.

Consecration Schedule Overview

Our consecration begins Monday, March 16, 2026, with five days of focused devotion. During this time, members are encouraged to:

  • Read, meditate, and pray on assigned scriptures three times daily
  • Reflect on themes of obedience, faith, and surrender
  • Set aside intentional moments to seek God’s presence

Following these days of meditation, we enter a period of corporate fasting, prayer, and Bible study from March 23 through March 29, strengthening both our individual and collective walk with Christ.

Key Dates to Remember

  • Palm Sunday – March 29, 2026
We commemorate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, marking the beginning of Holy Week and preparing our hearts for the fulfillment of His purpose.
  • Resurrection Sunday – April 5, 2026
The culmination of our consecration as we celebrate the risen Savior and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Final Week of Prayer

In the final days leading up to Resurrection Sunday, we will gather in unity for morning prayer as a church, reinforcing our commitment to God and one another as we approach this powerful celebration of victory and new life.

Our Purpose

This consecration is more than a schedule—it is a spiritual journey. As a church, our mission is to grow in grace, walk in obedience, and strengthen our relationship with God. Through prayer, fasting, and the Word, we position ourselves to receive clarity, renewal, and transformation.

We encourage every member and partner to fully participate in this sacred time, believing that God will meet us, strengthen us, and prepare us for what lies ahead.

Let us consecrate together—with expectation, with faith, and with hearts ready to receive.
