Mission Church invites you to join our Virtual Friday Prayer Service as we gather online in unity to seek the presence of the Lord through prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth. These gatherings are a time for our church family and community to come together in faith—lifting our hearts before God and strengthening one another through His Word.
As part of our ongoing spiritual development, our Friday prayer time will now include reflection and discussion from the powerful book “The Bait of Satan” by John Bevere. This impactful Christian teaching explores one of the enemy’s most subtle traps for believers—offense—and how it can hinder spiritual growth, relationships, and our walk with Christ. The book encourages believers to pursue forgiveness, humility, and spiritual maturity so that we can walk in freedom and remain aligned with God’s will.
Through prayer and guided reflection on this book, we will learn how to recognize and overcome the traps of offense while growing stronger in faith and unity as a church family. This emphasis aligns with Mission Church’s spiritual mission to develop disciples who walk in obedience to God, reflect Christ’s love, and pursue Kingdom growth in our lives and community.
Studying this book together also supports our church theme this year as we seek to grow deeper in faith, strengthen our spiritual discipline through prayer, and walk in the blessings that come through obedience to God’s Word.
